About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs, providing a warm and friendly greeting and assistance as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support opening and closing store activities, as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods, lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Pay

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $15.00 - $22.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
