About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and professionalism
• Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and assisting with vendor check-ins
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring product availability and service updates
• Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
