About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and meet customer needs through attentive service and proactive problem-solving
• Maintain a positive and welcoming presence in the store, greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies
• Manage the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities as required
• Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts, gaining valuable experience and career development opportunities
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that enhance health and wellness

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
