About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming presence in the store, greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and assisting with opening and closing activities.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure the availability of products and services, and to promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career within the company.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Physical requirements: remain upright on the feet for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly.
- Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
