About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing a positive health experience for customers. Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Give a warm greeting and assist customers in finding items, especially in busy times.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, following company policies.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Offer assistance to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy to gain experience and grow your career.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Physical requirements: Standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service.
