About the role

The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in shaping the future of health care by providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and supporting various departments within a CVS Health retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and empathy
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, and update pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities
• Provide customer support across multiple departments, ensuring stock levels and service updates
• Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity: performing activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service
