About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving potential service issues promptly.
• Give a warm and friendly greeting, assist customers in locating items, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities, as needed.
• Offer customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and stay updated on new services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly.
• Visual acuity: having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
