The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall health experience for individuals and communities.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and meet customer needs through attentive and compassionate interactions
• Maintain a welcoming environment by greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies
• Manage the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as required
• Provide customer support across various departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts to foster growth and career development
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company's mission

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts/details

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
