About the role

The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role within the CVS Health family. You'll work in a leading retail setting, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and supporting various departments.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required

Skills

Passionate about customer service, able to handle cash transactions, and comfortable with visual inspections.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
