About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, and manage cashier duties while supporting various departments and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care.
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts for growth and career development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
