About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll be responsible for managing cash transactions, supporting various departments, and assisting in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
• Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities, including stocking shelves and preparing for the next shift.
• Assist in the photo and beauty departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Having close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational abilities are essential.
