The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role within the CVS Health family. You'll work in a leading retail setting, contributing to a high-impact, customer-focused role that positively impacts the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities, when needed.
• Offer customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly.
• Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred but not required.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on various factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
