Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory.
• Support opening and closing store activities, as needed.
• Assist in providing customer support across different departments, ensuring stock levels and operational readiness.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities.
• Embrace and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Having close visual acuity for tasks like viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred but not required: Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Skills

Physical stamina, visual acuity, and previous retail or customer service experience are preferred qualifications for this role.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $16.94 - $23.94 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
