About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, assisting customers with product selection and checkout.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, and update pricing information as directed.
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly.
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational abilities are essential.
