About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers warmly and assisting with product inquiries.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
- Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and collaborating with vendors.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the store, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
- Good visual acuity for detailed tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
