The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role in the CVS Health family, providing a customer-focused environment where skills and expertise can positively impact millions of lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and other relevant factors.
