About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in shaping a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience. You'll provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, maintain the sales floor, and support various departments.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate customer needs and demonstrate compassion in all interactions
- Maintain eye contact and offer help locating additional items
- Perform cashier duties with precision, following company policies and procedures
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory management tasks
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $15.15 - $22.15. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
