About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting. This role focuses on customer satisfaction through attentive service, accurate transaction processing, and supporting various departments within the store.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs with warmth and empathy
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
- Restock shelves and manage inventory
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support across different departments
- Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals and reading
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational abilities are essential.
