The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively addressing potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, making eye contact, and offering assistance as needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities, when required.
• Offer customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and staying updated with new services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company's mission of improving health outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Having close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.

Skills

Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
