About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and directing customers to products or services.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the supervision of the store manager.
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities.
• Assist in the photo and beauty departments, ensuring stock levels and providing customer support.
• Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Good visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency with cash registers and basic computer skills are also beneficial.
