About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer, and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and empathy
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
