About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.
