About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall health experience for individuals and communities.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support across various departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity for performing activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
