About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues promptly.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance as needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are also beneficial.
