About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their requests.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
• Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and collaborating with vendors.
• Assist in the opening and closing of the store, as needed.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and meets customer needs.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career within the company.
• Adopt and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs to enhance customer experiences.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.
• Age requirement: At least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Skills

• Ability to lift and carry light to moderate weight.

• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
