The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming presence, greeting customers warmly and assisting with product inquiries.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies.
- Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and collaborating with vendors.
- Assist in opening and closing store activities, including managing the sales floor and ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff, participating in regular shifts to enhance customer service and support.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs to improve health outcomes.
Requirements
- Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
- Good visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A passion for customer service and a commitment to health care are also important qualities.
