About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role in shaping the future of health care. You'll work in a leading retail setting, providing exceptional customer service and supporting various departments.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs through warm greetings, helpful assistance, and prompt resolution of issues.
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory.
- Support opening and closing store activities, as needed.
- Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that enhance health care experiences.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service settings.
