The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role in the CVS Health family, providing a customer-focused environment where individuals can excel and positively impact the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly.
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
