About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for managing cash transactions, supporting various departments, and assisting in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming presence by greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed.
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit cards according to company policies.
• Manage the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities as required.
• Offer customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work in the pharmacy as part of growth and career development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Good visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals and reading.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational abilities are essential.

Pay
