About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly
• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers warmly and offering assistance
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies
• Manage the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing vendor relationships, and updating pricing information
• Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Participate in new service and loyalty program training to enhance customer experiences

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals and reading

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous retail or customer service experience
