About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a warm and friendly greeting, assist customers in finding products, and handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager.
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities.
• Offer assistance to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities and career development.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include remaining upright on feet for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals and reading.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.
