Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving potential service issues promptly.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and directing customers to products or services.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager.
• Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, such as photo and beauty, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts, contributing to growth and career development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company's mission of improving health outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.
