About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in providing differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer, and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
• Maintain a warm and friendly greeting and assist customers in locating items
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager
• Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities
• Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Work in the pharmacy as part of growth and career development opportunities
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
