Store Associate
About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and professionalism
- Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
