About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming presence, greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, following company policies and procedures.
- Manage the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
- Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing activities, as required.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.
