The Retail Store Associate position plays a significant role in shaping the future of health care. You'll work in a leading retail setting, providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and supporting various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming environment by greeting customers warmly and assisting with product inquiries.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
• Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and collaborating with vendors.
• Assist in opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that enhance health care experiences.

Requirements

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
