About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer, and supporting various departments within the store. Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. The ability to lift and move items, as well as maintain visual acuity, are also important.
