The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, and manage cashier duties with precision. This role requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care
- Locate and assist customers with additional items as needed
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support across various departments, including photo and beauty services
- Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts
- Advocate for and learn new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and reading
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and stand for long periods, and proficiency with cash handling and inventory management are essential.

Pay
