About the role

The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in shaping a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience at CVS Health. You'll work in a leading retail setting, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various departments.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and meet customer needs through warm greetings and helpful assistance
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory
• Support opening and closing store activities
• Provide customer support across different departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.
