About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to customer needs with empathy and care
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Avoid and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts regularly
• Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
