About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You will work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming presence, greeting customers warmly and offering assistance as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Support store operations by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and collaborating with vendors.
• Assist in opening and closing store activities, as required.
• Support departments like photo and beauty by ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Work regular shifts in the pharmacy to gain experience and advance your career.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include remaining upright on the feet for extended periods and lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly.
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
