About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for managing cash transactions, assisting customers with product selection, and supporting various departments within the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating and addressing customer needs
• Maintain eye contact and offer assistance to customers as needed
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, and update pricing information as directed
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities
• Assist with departmental tasks such as photo and beauty services, ensuring stock levels and tool updates
• Work in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
