The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health plays a significant role in shaping a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience. You'll work in a leading retail setting, providing differentiated customer service, accurate cashier duties, and supporting various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities, when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods; lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly; visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
