About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively identifying and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and managing inventory as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Offer customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and staying current with new services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and negligible amounts of force regularly
• Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash register systems are essential.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
