The Retail Store Associate position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting. This role focuses on the customer, ensuring they have a positive experience through attentive and empathetic interactions.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs by offering assistance and guidance
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support to departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Work regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities
- Advocate for and assist with new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: remaining upright on the feet, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspections involving small parts/details
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
