Store Associate
About the role
The Retail Store Associate position plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. You'll provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, handle cashier duties accurately, maintain the sales floor, support store activities, assist other departments, and embrace new CVS services.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
- Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory
- Provide customer support across various departments
- Work shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development
- Advocate for and implement new CVS services and loyalty programs
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly
- Visual acuity: close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash registers and inventory management systems.

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. Actual pay will vary based on experience, education, and other factors.
