About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, assisting customers with product selection and addressing their concerns.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing, and manage inventory under the direction of the store manager.
• Support store operations by participating in opening and closing activities as needed.
• Offer assistance to pharmacy staff, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development opportunities.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company's mission of improving health outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity necessary for tasks such as viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
