The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focusing on the customer and supporting various departments within the store.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs with warmth and care.
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the mission of helping people on their path to better health.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly.
- Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills
Passion for customer service, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $16.94 - $23.94 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 29. The actual schedule will be determined based on availability and business needs.
