About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide differentiated customer service, focus on the customer, and manage cashier duties in a growing, high impact, customer-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs and demonstrate compassion and care in all interactions
• Maintain eye contact and offer help locating additional items when needed
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager
• Support opening and closing store activities, when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with all updated services and tools
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods of time
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from
• Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Passion for customer service, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
