About the Role

We want you to join our team as an Assistant Manager. If you have the desire to be challenged, work in a fast-paced, fun environment, and create a career in management, this role is for you. You will assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising. You’ll help maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly service to customers while executing our food program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff
• Oversee bookkeeping and merchandising tasks
• Ensure fast and friendly customer service while maintaining high standards
• Execute the food program with excellence
• Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
• Lead by example with a sense of urgency, patience, and strong leadership
• Demonstrate cash-handling, problem-solving, and safety/security awareness

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour per shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
• May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
